Honor Your Favorite Professor, Staff Person or Coach!

Honor Your Favorite Professor, Staff Person or Coach!
Make a gift to Western in honor of someone who made a big impact in your life at Western. Once you choose a donation amount and where you’d like your money to go (it’s up to you!), the person you’ve chosen to honor will receive a letter and frame-able certificate notifying him/her that a gift has been made in their honor, by you!

How Do I Honor A Professor?
1.) Make a minimum gift of $10 online by clicking here .
2.) Choose the area you’d like your gift to support. (See ‘where should I donate below).
3.) Under ‘Honor and Memory Gifts’ write the person’s name you are honoring. You do not need to type in the address of the honoree.
4.) In the Comments section below write Senior Gift

Where should I donate?
---You can designate your gift to any department, college, scholarship, athletic team, or club of your choice. Still not sure? Give to the Campus Enrichment Fund or donate to the Library to help fund the purchase of new materials and technology. Click here for a more complete list. Why make a gift?

---By donating to your favorite department or program on campus, you’re continuing an important legacy. Western relies on the generosity of alumni to fund the extra resources and opportunities that make the Western experience great. If you used the labs on campus, were the recipient of a scholarship, used Lakewood, Student Recreation Center, Wilson Library, or traveled to conferences (just to name a few!) you took advantage of opportunities made possible by alumni contributions. Now it’s your turn to return the favor

WWU graduate Lauren McKnew with Geology Professor Pete Stelling. Lauren made a gift to Western in honor of Dr. Stelling at a Senior Giving booth at the Graduation Celebration in June 2008. "Peter's enthusiasm for geology is contagious," she says, "Science doesn't come naturally to me but Pete took the time to explain the material and made it fun.
